THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Complete and submit (or return) the Chugiak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. “New Member Application” which can be obtained in a couple different ways:
Currently, applications are reviewed quarterly. Applicants will be evaluated and notified after Executive Board meetings in May, August, November and February
All Applicants *MUST* include:
- A copy of your driving record (can be obtained at any DMV for a small fee)
- Valid driver’s license (make a copy for application and show original when turning in application)
- Criminal record (can be obtained at State Troopers office for a small fee) and any prior training records from previous departments
Drop off completed paper applications and attachments at Chugiak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. Station #35:

… during a Wednesday night meeting (commences at 7:00PM ). If changes occur to your contact phone number(s), you decide against joining, have application updates, or have moved from the Chugiak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. service area, please contact the department as soon as possible at 907-694-2010.
After review of your application you will be contacted at which time you will be given further information on the status of your application.
